Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a Indian performer, singer-songwriter, and musician. She works primarily with Tamil and Malayalam movies. Her acting debut was with the Tamil movie Pachaikili Muthucharam and also made her Malayalam debut with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah comes from an Anglo-Indian family background. Her parents were a Madras High Court attorney. Also, she has an older sister who works as a research associate in Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah was born within Chennai. He went to National Public School. After the completion of his studies, he attended Women's Christian College. Andrea started classes in classical piano when she was eight years old, was called a "geek" and aspired to become a psychiatrist until her 12th grade board exam. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style group she was a part of when she was 10, was her foundation for her singing as well as composing music. Also, she was an actress in her college. Andrea was the president of The Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began performing as a young performer as a child actor in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. The role she played in 2006's Leo Coffee commercial included Shiva. She was also on Podhigai Channel, a television series. She has appeared in all parts of India. She appeared briefly in Kanda Mudhal's final scene (2005). Gautham V. Menon invited her after she performed a number in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu to appear as a leading female for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea was Kalyani the wife who's husband is in the middle of an extramarital affair. Andrea was chosen for the part after Simran and Tabu, two actresses who were contacted by the producers. It was first released in the early part of the year 2010. She agreed in 2011 to perform a tiny part in the multi-starrer film of Venkatprabhu Mankatha that was premiered in August of 2011. In 2013, she was the first to debut in Malayalam film with Rajeev Ravi's romance film Annayum Rasoolum.
