Adelaide Clemens

Born and brought up in Brisbane Australia. She is the daughter of an English dad. Clemens began working in Australian TV while still in high school. The actress guest starred on an episode on Blue Water High as Juliet and in 2007 she starred in the show for children Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji as Alison. Clemens was the lead character of Harper in Love My Way, a Showtime drama in the same year. For the role she was nominated for the Graham Kennedy Award at the Logie Awards 2008 for Most Outstanding New Talent. Clemens starred alongside Sigrid and Xavier along with Samuel Linda Cropper Andrew McFarlane in the 2008's MTV Networks Australia Dramatic Film Dream Life. In 2009 she was in small roles on All Saints as well as the movie X-Men Origins Wolverine. Clemens was a model for the jewellery of Jan Logan during the same time. Clemens relocated to Los Angeles California in 2009. Clemens was on screen in the role of Xandrie (Wasted on the Young) in the movie Wasted on the Young. In 2012 Clemens was in Camilla Dickinson, alongside Gregg Sulkin, Cary Elwes as well as Samantha Mathis. She was Heather Mason, a teenager in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. This film about horror was based on Silent Hill 3, a Survival horror game. The film was also a sequel of Silent Hill. Clemens played the main character as a young Valentine Wannop, a suffragette in Parade's End. Clemens was a character in Luke Evans' 2012 horror flick No One Lives. Also, she was in 2013's film The Great Gatsby based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel by the same name. Catherine Wilson was the elder cousin of Myrtle Wilson portrayed by Isla Fisher. Clemens is Tawney in Rectify which was a film from 2013 Sundance Channel miniseries written by Ray McKinnon. Clemens will also be starring alongside Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham and Zachary Quinto in the independent drama The Girl Who Invented Kissing.
